Launched in 2007, Event In Site, LLC specializes in association and non-profit meetings, conferences, golf outings, fundraisers and special events. We believe in providing excellent service and resources for the logistical development of meetings and events. Our personalized service and attention to detail allow for clients to relax and enjoy their event, knowing that it is in good hands.

About Sheila Fox

With nine years of professional experience in the meetings industry, Sheila brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to your event. From small board meetings to gala fundraisers, Sheila provides an eye for detail and strives to make your event top-notch. Prior to launching Event In Site, Sheila served as Director of Meetings and Membership for the Ohio Cable Telecommunications Association, where she planned multiple educational opportunities for its 750-plus members.  She also served as an AmeriCorps Promise Fellow, working with the Ohio-West Virginia YMCA to bring HI-Y, a leadership development program for teens, to schools in the Columbus area.

 

A graduate of Ohio University, Sheila holds a bachelor's degree in Communication with an emphasis in Organizational Communication. An active member in the POWER Chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), Sheila is Immediate Past President, having served two terms as President. She is also a member of the Ohio Society of Association Executives (OSAE) and Experience Columbus.

 

Sheila was named the PCMA POWER Chapter's 2010 Meeting Professional of the Year and was a 2010 nominee for PCMA's Outstanding Service to a Chapter Award, given nationally.

 

When she is not busy planning something, Sheila enjoys tennis, running, cooking, classic cars and spending time with family and friends.
